Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy helps alleviate the discomfort associated with every day occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions.
Massage therapy has various uses, but often it is used as a treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. RMTs work with a wide variety of patients in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation and disability.
A Registered Massage Therapist is an person who is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) in accordance with the Regulated Health Professionals Act and the Massage Therapy Act.

As well as further clinical experience in sports therapy, cupping, geriatric therapy and post-surgical rehabilitation. I tend to patients needs through thorough assessment skills and a well-tailored treatment plan. Remedial exercise is an important part of my treatment plan in order to prevent injury while increasing mobility.”

Nancy has recently joined the team at Immerse. She holds diplomas in Massage Therapy and Homeopathy. She has over 20 yrs experience in the massage field. After taking some time off from her massage therapy career to study Homeopathy, she now finds herself called back to it.
She is very excited to be a part of the Immerse experience by offering clients 30 and 60 minute relaxation massage appointments.
Her massage services are non registered and cannot be billed to insurance.
