Cold water therapy is the practice of using water that’s around 15°C (59°F) to treat health conditions and/or stimulate health benefits. It’s also referred to as cold hydrotherapy. It has been around for a couple of millennia and recent adaptations include brisk daily showers, ice baths, outdoor swims, and cold water immersion therapy sessions.

What is Cold Thermogenesis (CT)?

Cold Thermogenesis is the practice of intentionally exposing parts of the body to cold to induce an adaptive, beneficial hermetic response.
